Brown Paper Tickets (BPT) uses the industry standard 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for all transactions. You should also see a lock symbol somewhere on the edge of your browser window for any secure pages you view. Clicking that icon will pull up the security certificate. BPT currently uses a third-party company called Thawte Communications to verify that all transactions are secure. You can visit their website at http://www.thawte.com for more information.
